Ahead of the 2026 season, Uno-X Women strengthen their sporting setup with new leadership and staff additions — and outline key goals in Grand Tours, Classics, and team development.
From 2026, Anna Badegruber officially takes on the role as Head of Sport | Women. After stepping up into the position earlier this year, she now leads the sporting side of the women’s program into its next chapter. Badegruber is a former pro with deep experience, a sharp mind, and a calm authority, she’s already made a big impact. She raced professionally from 2015 to 2021 with teams including WNT-Rotor Pro Cycling and Multum Accountants Ladies Cycling Team — even lining up at the Ladies Tour of Norway 2017.
“I‘m really happy and grateful to take on the new role as Head of Sports, says Badegruber. It’s been a big change — going from being a DS to now overseeing more areas — but I really enjoy it. I am really thankful for the trust that the team and Thor have in me and the support they provide. It feels like the right step at the right time. For 2026 and onwards, we have big goals as a team and really want to focus on improving our GC and Grand Tour set-up. I am really excited to start this journey.”
“Anna is clear and straightforward, and she communicates exceptionally well. She’s also impressively multilingual, and even starting to understand a bit of Norwegian–Danish. With experience from several different roles in cycling teams, she has a strong understanding of the sport and a solid overview. On top of that, she has a very likeable presence and a natural ability to bring people together and move in the same direction. I’m very glad she’ll be leading this next chapter.”

Three new DS’s join the women’s setup from 2026.
To support this transition and expand the team’s capacity across the calendar, Uno-X Mobility is also welcoming three new sports directors to the women’s setup from 2026: Megan Chard, Nicolas Marche, and Alejandro Gonzalez-Tablas.
Together, the new trio brings a wide range of experience — from racing experience to rider development and performance psychology — and, just as importantly, a clear alignment with Uno-X Mobility’s team culture and way of working.
“All three bring different strengths,” says Badegruber.
“But what really stood out was how naturally they fit into our approach and environment. That was key.”
Nicolas Marche (33) and Alejandro Gonzalez-Tablas (38) both join from UAE Team ADQ, where they spent multiple seasons working at the top level of women’s cycling. Nicolas also has extensive experience with scouting and development, while Alejandro brings a diverse background across performance management roles in several teams.

“I’ve worked with both before at previous teams,” Badegruber notes.
“They bring a lot of knowledge and insight — but also the right mindset, which is super important.”
Megan Chard (27) arrives from Liv AlUla Jayco, where she worked across both the WorldTour and development programs. With a strong background in performance psychology and scouting, she adds a fresh, analytical layer to the team’s setup.
“She’s worked in different environments, with different kinds of riders, and built a really strong foundation. She’s going to bring a lot — especially with how we work with development.”

2026 Ambitions: Progress Across the Board
As Uno-X Mobility enters 2026, the goals remain clear: develop riders, race with intent, and keep progressing — while pushing to compete with the best. With a sharper focus on Grand Tours and top-10 GC results, the team is building toward greater consistency and impact on the sport’s biggest stage.
“We want to keep building on what we started,” says Badegruber.
“2025 showed we’re on the right path — now it’s about continuing that development.”
The ambitions for the upcoming season are twofold:
First, a stronger Classics and spring campaign, especially in sprints and races like De Panne and Paris-Roubaix, where the team already showed strong potential this year — including a 6th place in Roubaix.
Second, a renewed push for GC results in the Grand Tours, aiming to establish the team consistently within the top 10 overall. After a strong Giro performance in 2025, the focus will now extend to other stage races — including a hopeful step forward in the Tour de France.
“It’s about creating a strong structure — for our sprinters, for our GC leaders, and for the team as a whole. And continuing to give riders space to grow within that.”
With new energy on board and clear goals ahead, the Uno-X Mobility Women’s Team is ready to keep growing — and racing with purpose in 2026.
