Uno-X Mobility Cycling Men’s Team Set for the UCI WorldTour 2026–2028

The 19th place is secured — and with the merger of Intermarché-Wanty and Lotto, that means promotion. Uno-X Mobility Cycling is heading to the UCI WorldTour – now also on the men’s side.

This is the moment we’ve dreamed of for years. A goal set when we first took our place in the professional peloton – to become the first Scandinavian setup with both men’s and women’s teams at the top level of world cycling.
Now, it’s reality.

From Borrowed Buses

When Uno-X Hydrogen Development Team was founded in 2016, it started with a handful of riders, borrowed buses, and a big ambition: to develop the future of Scandinavian cycling, and to prove that belief, hard work, and shared values could take you all the way to the top. The journey has been anything but easy.

From modest beginnings on the Continental circuit, to stepping up to ProTeam level in 2020 – and later adding a Danish identity that made us truly Scandinavian – every step has been built on courage, collaboration, and the will to keep moving forward.

And with that momentum came a desire to open new doors — to give more riders the same chance to grow within the Uno-X way of doing things.

Ahead of 2021, we launched the Uno-X women’s team, built on the same philosophy and values. For the first time, young female riders were given the same platform, the same opportunities, and the same belief that they could make it to the highest level. One team. One vision. For both women and men.

Gaining Momentum and Achieving

Momentum accelerated quickly. In 2022, the men’s team was invited to its first WorldTour stage race, the Volta a Catalunya — a symbolic moment for a team still finding its place among giants. Then came the next leap: an invitation to the Tour de France in 2023, a defining milestone that announced Uno-X to the global cycling community.

And in 2025, history was made once more when Jonas Abrahamsen claimed the team’s first Tour de France stage victory — a moment of pure joy and validation for everyone who had believed in the dream from the start.

Down to the Wire in Veneto

The 2025 season will be remembered as one of the most demanding and defining in the team’s history.

Through setbacks, injuries, and close calls, the team kept fighting — together. Every race, every point, and every contribution mattered, from the riders out front to the staff working tirelessly behind the scenes.

In October, it all came down to the final races. With a victory by Sakarias Løland and a 7th place by Fredrik Dversnes in the Veneto Classic, Uno-X Mobility secured the crucial points needed to earn promotion. A fight that lasted three seasons — decided in the final kilometres of the final race.

“It’s hard to believe. You couldn’t have written a better ending. This autumn has been such an emotional ride, and I’m incredibly happy with how it all came together. Sakarias taking his first pro win in the final, decisive race of the season — that’s a moment I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

This has been a true achievement from the whole team, and real proof that we’ve taken another big step forward as a squad. Even with injuries to some of our most prominent riders, we’ve delivered a very strong autumn. The team has greater depth now — and is ready for even bigger challenges ahead.”

A Scandinavian Dream Realised

From 2026 to 2028, Uno-X Mobility Cycling will compete among the very best in world cycling — in every Grand Tour, every Monument, and every race that defines the sport.

With this, Uno-X becomes the first Scandinavian setup to hold WorldTour licences for both men’s and women’s teams — and the first Norwegian team ever to reach the WorldTour on the men’s side.
It’s a milestone nearly a decade in the making.

To everyone who has believed in this project – and poured in sweat, passion, and endless hours to bring us here – riders, staff, partners, and fans: thank you. You made it happen.

And to Reitan Retail, our owner and biggest supporter from day one — thank you for believing in our dreams and our way of doing things.

From Continental to ProTeam to WorldTour.
From a small garage to the biggest stage.
From a dream to reality.

Dare to dream…
Uno-X WorldTeam 2026–2028 💛❤️
