UNO-X Mobility Cycling are thrilled to announce Norwegian Storm Ingebrigtsen and Danish Tobias Svarre as stagiaires for the remainder of 2025, with both riders also signing long-term deals with the team
Storm Ingebrigtsen has signed a two-year contract with UNO-X Mobility Cycling, running from 2026 through 2027. The 20-year-old Norwegian arrives from Team Coop – Repsol and has enjoyed a breakout season, highlighted by a dramatic solo victory on Stage 1 of the Tour of Norway, where he held off a World Tour-dominated chase group after attacking from the breakaway. The ride was hailed as one of the season’s most eye-catching wins.
“I’ve been looking up to UNO-X ever since I was young—it’s the only Scandinavian team at this level, and for me, joining them really feels like a dream come true. Their way of racing and developing riders has always impressed me.”
Ingebrigtsen will join the team as a stagiaire for the remainder of the 2025 season, making his debut at the Tour de Luxembourg in September. In cycling, a stagiaire is a trainee deal that lets young riders race with a pro team from August onwards, giving them valuable experience — in this case before joining the team full time next season. Known for his strength in long, selective races, Ingebrigtsen describes himself as a versatile rouleur with a love for the classics.
“I’m a big guy, but I go well in long, hard races. I like the classics, but I also climb okay. If I could win one race, it would be the Ronde van Vlaanderen. That’s my dream race to win.”
General Manager Thor Hushovd sees massive potential in the young Norwegian:
“Storm is one of the most exciting young riders in Norwegian cycling right now. What he showed at the Tour of Norway was special—and it’s clear he has both the physical strength and the right mentality to go far. We look forward to building him step by step and seeing how far he can go especially in the big one-day races.”
Tobias Svarre has signed a three-year contract with UNO-X Mobility Cycling, running from 2026 through 2028. The 21-year-old Dane arrives from Team ColoQuick and has shown steady progression as one of Denmark’s most promising young climbers.
Earlier this year, he led ColoQuick’s headline-grabbing attempt to retake the Coll de Rates KOM at their training camp in Calpe. The team dedicated half the camp to the effort, and with Svarre at the back of a 14-man lead-out, he equalled their best-ever time—only behind Tadej Pogačar’s.
“We gave it everything. People had flown in, scooters were brought for pacing—it was a full operation. I’ve never ridden better.”
He will join UNO-X as a stagiaire for the rest of the 2025 season, before transitioning to a full-time role next year. For Svarre, the move is about more than performance—it’s about being part of the right environment.
“I was lucky to join their training camp in January, and right away I could feel the Scandinavian atmosphere—just Danes and Norwegians, the kind of humour and energy I really thrive in. As a young rider, the biggest fear is being forgotten when you move up. But at UNO-X, you feel seen. Everyone gets a chance if they’re good enough, and the whole setup is built to help riders develop.”
General Manager Thor Hushovd is confident about what Svarre can bring.
“Tobias is a rider with real climbing potential and a strong mindset. He’s developed well with ColoQuick, and we believe he’s ready to take the next step. We look forward to helping him grow and seeing what he can do, especially in the stage races.”
UNO-X Mobility was founded to help develop the future of Scandinavian cycling, step by step. Bringing riders like Storm and Tobias into our setup continues that mission — giving young talent the right environment to grow and succeed at the top level. We’d also like to thank Team Coop–Repsol and ColoQuick for the important work they’ve done with these riders so far. We’re excited to follow Storm’s and Tobias’ journeys in red and yellow.
