Stian Fredheim has signed a three-year contract extension with UNO-X Mobility Cycling, keeping the 22-year-old Norwegian talent on the team through the end of the 2028 season.

Still only 22, Fredheim has made significant strides in his development over the past three years. After showing strong potential in 2024, he took a major leap forward this season — highlighted by an emphatic solo victory at La Route Adélie de Vitré and a solid spring campaign that proved he can handle tough, selective sprints.

He backed it up with a standout ride at the Critérium du Dauphiné, finishing 4th on stage 2 against world-class competition — clear proof of his ability to compete at the highest level in demanding terrain.

Now, in his first Tour de France, Stian continues to rise to the occasion: on stage 8, he celebrated his first ever top 10 finish at the world’s biggest race — despite originally riding in support and only receiving the call to sprint with just one kilometer to go.

“We’re really happy to extend our contract with one of Norway’s biggest young talents. Stian has a huge future ahead of him — something he’s already showing now at the Tour de France and with the results he delivered this spring, especially the win at La Route Adélie. We’ll continue to build him up year by year; he’s a rider who can go far as a sprinter in tough finishes, and it will be exciting to see how far he can go as a future classics rider.”

Thor Hushovd, General Manager, Uno-X Mobility Cycling.

“I’m really happy to extend my contract and to keep growing with this team. I came up through the devo squad, and now, in my third season as a pro, I feel we’re a truly professional setup. I can see I’ve progressed every year and gained valuable experience from every race — and the ambitions keep growing season by season. We’re a great group, and I really enjoy being here — both socially with the riders and staff, and in how we push each other to get better.”
