From Continental team dreams to WorldTour reality. Sweet Protection and Uno-X Mobility Cycling renew their long-standing collaboration in a shared pursuit of performance and safety.
Uno-X Mobility Cycling is proud to announce the extension of our strategic partnership with Sweet Protection through 2028. The Norwegian performance brand will continue as the official provider of helmets, eyewear, headwear, and off-race apparel for both the men’s and women’s WorldTour teams.
Since first joining in 2019, Sweet Protection has been a core part of the team’s journey. What began in our early development days has grown alongside every major milestone: launching our women’s WorldTour team, elevating the men’s squad from continental to pro team, and now reaching the pinnacle of the sport with full WorldTour status. Throughout it all, Sweet Protection has supported our riders with performance and trust — on every road and at every level.

“It might sound like a cliché, but this team and Sweet Protection really have grown up together,” says Thor Hushovd, General Manager at Uno-X Mobility Cycling. “Sweet Protection has been with us from the early days — supporting us when we were just getting started, and still standing with us now as we race at the WorldTour level with both men’s and women’s teams. That kind of loyalty, trust, and shared ambition is something we truly value — especially with a Norwegian brand that also reflects who we are.”

At the heart of the collaboration lies a shared mission, to push the boundaries of performance without ever compromising on protection. Over the years, Uno-X Mobility athletes have helped co-develop cutting-edge products, including the Falconer 2Vi® Mips helmet, the Redeemer 2Vi® Mips for time trials, and the all-new Tucker III 2Vi® Mips aero helmet — engineered in partnership with a Formula 1 aerodynamicist and tested extensively via CFD simulations and wind tunnels.
“With genuine excitement and gratitude, we’re pleased to extend our partnership with Uno‑X Mobility for another three years. It’s important for us to work with teams that share our commitment to raising standards; with, Uno‑X Mobility we’re focused on creating the safest, fastest, best‑performing products to train and race around the world. It’s a privilege to be part of Uno‑X Mobility’s success story and to see the riders compete and win, and this partnership is central to our global growth strategy, further fueling our momentum.”

The collaboration spans the full race calendar — equally supporting both women’s and men’s programs — and fuels an R&D platform driven by shared ambition and innovation in aerodynamics, comfort, and safety.
“Partnering with Uno‑X Mobility, who share our values and ambitions on the sport’s biggest cycling stages, is deeply rewarding. This collaboration is a powerful R&D engine: together we stage and test products around the world, accelerating future advances in aerodynamics, comfort and overall performance to deliver stronger, lighter, faster performance equipment. It’s also key to growing our international brand awareness and building authentic, emotional connections with riders — giving us a 360‑degree platform to activate across every key consumer touchpoint.”

As Uno-X Mobility Cycling continues to grow across the men’s and women’s WorldTour, the partnership with Sweet Protection remains a cornerstone of our competitive and cultural identity. From the garages in Trysil and Lysaker — to the biggest stage in world cycling — we’ve grown up together. And as Sweet Protection celebrates its 25th anniversary, the journey continues — stronger than ever.
Happy 25, Sweet Protection — proud of what we’ve achieved together, and we’re only getting started!
