Mie Bjørndal Ottestad has signed a new deal with Uno-X Mobility Cycling, extending her contract through the end of the 2028 season.

The 28-year-old Norwegian is in her fourth year with Uno-X Mobility — and 2025 has been her best season to date, delivering a GC win and multiple stage wins.

Among the highlights: a great week at Vuelta a Burgos, where she claimed a stage win and finished 7th in the GC — proving her ability to perform in tougher, hillier terrain. She then went on to win the overall classification at the Tour of Norway Women, also taking the points jersey and Stage 2 in Stavanger. In June, she became Norwegian national road race champion for the third time in her career, solidifying her place among the country’s very best riders.

Having been part of Uno-X Mobility from the very beginning, Mie sees the team’s progress as a source of inspiration — and wants to keep building on that journey:

“Pleased to be staying with the team for three more years! I’ve been on board since the beginning and it’s really inspiring to see how the team develops each year. I think we’re on to something great and that’s something I want to be a part of. I still feel I have a lot of untapped potential, and I’m confident that by staying here we can get the best out of me. The dream is to be right up there among the very best within these three years — and the goal is to become a more solid GC rider.”

Her strong 2025 season has only reinforced how highly she’s valued within the team. As General Manager Thor Hushovd puts it:

It’s fantastic to extend with Mie, who is without doubt one of the best riders we have. She’s shown a really high level this year — but we also believe she can still grow further within our setup and take new steps in her development.

With national titles, stage race victories, and big goals ahead — we’re proud to continue the journey with Mie.
