Uno-X Mobility Cycling is proud to announce that Katrine Aalerud has signed a contract extension, keeping the experienced Norwegian with the team through the end of the 2027 season.
At 30 years old, Aalerud is enjoying one of the strongest seasons of her career — and has taken a major step forward as a GC rider in 2025. In June, she defended her Norwegian ITT title and took silver in the road race.
She followed that up with a historic ride at the Giro d’Italia, finishing 10th overall — the first ever Grand Tour top-10 for Uno-X Mobility Cycling — after a consistent and composed week that showcased her reliability and versatility.
She carried that momentum into the Tour de France with clear GC ambitions, but those ambitions were cut short due to a crash on Stage 5 that forced her to withdraw. Fortunately, she avoided serious injury, and we look forward to supporting her full recovery and continued progression in the seasons to come.
“We’re very happy to sign Katrine through the 2027 season. She’s working her way up step by step as a GC rider, and we want to continue building around her as one of our key leaders for the years ahead.”
– Thor Hushovd, General Manager, Uno-X Mobility Cycling.
“I’m really happy to extend with the team. I’ve developed a lot since I joined, and I truly believe I can keep progressing by continuing this collaboration. The team has taken big steps forward in recent years, and I’m excited to be part of that journey going forward.”
